Our part inspection/metrology service includes scanning the part and aligning and comparing the data to an existing CAD master model, which allows us to quickly see deviations over the object or direct us to inspect specific points.
We start with a 3D scan using our metrology grade scanning system, and obtain highly accurate data, measuring the sample provided. Next, with the CAD master model loaded, we align the scan data and the inspection process begins.
Visualising the deviations of the comparison by means of colour mapping, we have easy-to-read results to quickly understand what the part is doing.
